We picked Sun n’ Lake community for our new home Tommy designed us a set of plans with the space and the quality we were looking for at a reasonable price.
We started construction November 1, 2009 and moved in March 15, 2010. We felt our home was built in a timely manner and Tommy James uses some of the best sub-contractors in the area. We have now been in the home for five years and are 100 % happy with the quality.

When we finally made the decision to relocate from Atlanta to Florida, my wife and I began searching for a builder. We toured some finished homes in the Sebring area and the ones with T. E. James on the sign out front made the best impression. After our initial meeting we were convinced that Tommy and his crew were a good fit. They worked with us from conception, to design, to changes of design and nailed it. Tommy, his crew and every one of his subcontractors are class acts with superb skills and craftsmanship. We befriended a large number of them as well as Tommy.
Building a house can be a trying experience but in this case it was almost fun.

My wife and I set up several interviews for local contractors when we decided to build our retirement Dream Home in Sebring. We had a basic outline in mind, but were not familiar with building in Florida, and we were looking for the right builder to fit our needs. After several Google searches and meeting with other contractors , we saw the T. E. James website and decided to call. Tommy happened to be in the office (Saturday AM) and he went out of his way to take the time to talk to us with sincere interest and thoughtful input into our questions. At the end of our dialogue he said that he really intended to “EARN OUR BUSINESS”; and he worked diligently to do just that! Tommy and his fabulous Team were great to us through every step of the long and arduous building process – feeling like family by the final walk through! We are now the proud owners of a beautiful deluxe custom home. We can truthfully say … WE WOULD DEFINITELY GO WITH T. E. JAMES AGAIN!!
